Love stories with a ghost in them, where it still works out. I checked the ending of every book against a published review, and I flag the ones with open-door scenes. Three are mine, and they’re marked.
One classic is here with a warning: The Ghost and Mrs. Muir is beautiful, but its ending is bittersweet.
